CPS Protection Plans extend the manufacturer’s original warranty—covering any malfunctions that would normally fall under the original terms and conditions. For eligible used or reconditioned equipment purchased through Restaurant City, coverage begins after our standard 90-day warranty period ends.

How do I file a warranty claim?
To start a claim, call Consumer Priority Service at 1-800-905-0443 or visit https://www.cpscentral.com/. Go to the "Customers" menu, select "Appliance Shield Program," and click "Make a Claim." All repairs must be completed by an authorized CPS service provider.

Will I have to pay a deductible?
No. CPS plans have zero deductibles. All parts and labor costs for eligible repairs are fully covered.
Can I transfer the warranty to a new owner?
Yes. CPS warranties are transferable once between owners without any loss of coverage.
Is this warranty available for residential use?
Yes! In fact, many manufacturer warranties are void when used residentially. A CPS warranty ensures you stay protected even when manufacturer coverage does not apply. If eligible, your CPS coverage starts when the manufacturer warranty ends. If there’s no manufacturer warranty, coverage begins 30 days from receipt.
Can I cover Used or Reconditioned Equipment?
Absolutely. Serialized used or reconditioned equipment purchased directly from Restaurant City qualifies for CPS extended warranty protection.
Does CPS cover equipment outside the United States?
Unfortunately, no. CPS warranties are only valid for equipment used within the United States.
